Zegna's Autumn/Winter 2011 Collection is gorgeous and hearkens back to a 1950's aesthetic. Tweeds, bold checks and coarse thick wool.
Here we find a gorgeous thick, textured, charcoal wool suit (probably between 340grams and 400 grams ). Classic 2 buttons with a sweeping peak lapel, shorter sleeves showing a lot of cuff along with a shorter jacket length. Straight flap pockets on the jacket. Trousers are worn higher in the waist than on the hips as seen in previous seasons, really taking a cue from the 1950's. A matching bold check, charcoal tie compliments the suit and creates that monochromatic "look" that we see through the entire collection.

Grey, tweed, safari suit complimented with a burgundy silk tie on a crisp white shirt.
3 button brown/grey tweed suit with outside pocket bags on jacket. A notch lapel sitting high on the shoulder is complimented with a loop.
This is my favorite of the lot, gorgeous dark brown check 3 button suit with outside flap pockets and pocket bags on the jacket. The thick wool does structure particularly well as can be seen by the great shape through the sides of the jacket. The suit is complimented with grey pullover, brown check tie and brown shoes
